Способ изготовления оптического поляризационного прозрачного защитного элемента, включающий нанесение слоя прозрачной полимерной композиции на поверхность подложки; структурирование по меньшей мере одного участка слоя прозрачной полимерной композиции для обеспечения оптической анизотропии, по меньшей мере на одном участке слоя прозрачной полимерной композиции; приготовление термоактивируемой прозрачной клеевой композиции, с показателем преломления, равным по меньшей мере двум единицам, путем введения в основу прозрачной клеевой композиции неорганических соединений, показатель преломления которых составляет по меньшей мере две единицы; нанесение на прозрачную полимерную композицию термоактивируемой прозрачной клеевой композиции, содержащей неорганические соединения с показателем преломления, равным по меньшей мере двум единицам. Кроме того, в качестве прозрачной полимерной композиции, предназначенной для нанесения на подложку, используют поликарбонат, полистирол, фторлак, полиимид, поливиниловый спирт, нитроцеллюлозу и т.д., а структурирование слоя прозрачной полимерной композиции по меньшей мере на одном ее участке, осуществляют или механическим способом, или термомеханическим воздействием, или головкой термопринтера, или обработкой пучком тяжелых ионов, или обработкой лучом лазера.
