Технический результат: расширение арсенала средств запорной арматуры трубопроводов компактной и технологичной конструкцией шарового крана, пригодной для работы в системах бытового водоснабжения и водяного отопления, то есть приемлемой для работы с текучей средой в трубопроводах под давлением, соответствующем давлению в таких системах, конструкцией, которая позволяет осуществлять ремонт шарового крана без отсоединения изделия от трубопроводной линии, конструкцией, где шток управления вращается вокруг оси, расположенной под углом к оси трубопроводной линии. Шаровой кран содержит корпус 1 с прямым круглым в поперечном сечении каналом 5 с внутренним выступом 6 и с двумя сообщающимися полостями с прямым каналом 5 патрубками 7, 8, оси которых образуют между собой прямой угол, шаровой запорный элемент 2 со сквозным каналом 9, шток 3, закрепленный с уплотнением 10 с возможностью вращения в первом патрубке 7 корпуса 4, глухую пробку 4, закрепленную с уплотнением 14, 15 разъемным соединением 12 во втором патрубке 8 и имеющую на внутреннем торце гнездо 15 по оси полости второго патрубка 8, а также кольцевую проточку 16, расположенную по краю входной части гнезда 15. В корпусе 1 выполнена кольцевая проточка 17, проходящая по выступу 6 в прямом канале 5 и лежащая вместе с кольцевой проточкой 16 на оси полости второго патрубка 8.
