Abstract
Способ обработки угля для удаления серы и других загрязнений смешением в реакционном резервуаре угля с раствором водного аммиака, имеющим выбранный диапазон концентрации, предпочтительно составляющий от 3-5%, аммиака в воде. Смешение обеспечивает контакт раствора с поверхностями и порами угля. Способ включает мониторинг обработки для определения, когда концентрация водного аммиака в реакционном резервуаре уменьшилась до уровня ниже выбранного диапазона, и водный аммиак с концентрацией аммиака в выбранном диапазоне или выше данного диапазона подают в реакционный резервуар для возвращения раствора в пределы выбранного диапазона.
