Для решения технических задач - создание нового способа уплотнения движущихся элементов и устройства для его осуществления, обеспечивающих повышение эффективности и надежности уплотнения, повышение КПД устройств, использующих предлагаемое изобретение, - в способе уплотнения движущихся элементов, заключающемся в том, что уплотнение осуществляют с помощью установки между движущимися элементами контактного упругого уплотнительного средства, в качестве контактного упругого уплотнительного средства используют многослойное уплотнительное средство, имеющее количество слоев не более шести, образованное упругими лентами из прочного материала, например из металла. Устройство, осуществляющее указанный выше способ уплотнения движущихся элементов, содержит термостатирующий аппарат, нагнетатель и в качестве контактного упругого уплотнительного средства содержит многослойное уплотнительное средство, имеющее количество слоев не более шести, образованное упругими лентами из прочного материала, например из металла.The invention relates to a sealing technique and can be used to seal moving elements with different profile clamping surfaces.
