Создают равномерную депрессию или репрессию вдоль перфорированного участка с обеих сторон в нефтяной зоне, соответственно в обсадных колоннах добывающих или нагнетательных скважин. Располагают горизонтальные и/или псевдогоризонтальные стволы добывающих и нагнетательных строящихся скважин параллельно между собой, но поперёк преимущественного направления трещин в продуктивном пласте.
