Abstract

The magnet block has a replaceable core mounted in a non-magnetic glass. When the core is removed from the glass, trapped metal particles are allowed to fall from the glass by gravity to facilitate their collection and use. A fluid deflector is installed upstream of each magnet block and protects the magnetic block from direct exposure to strong flow. Blocks of magnets have the ability to rotate "side-to-side" and change their position in the stream.
