Abstract

Настоящее изобретение относится к области медицины, в частности онкологии, и молекулярной биологии. Предложено в качестве маркера для диагностики немелкоклеточного рака легких использовать уровень транскрипции гена TIMP3. Сниженный уровень транскрипции в предположительно пораженной раком ткани человека по сравнению с ее уровнем в здоровой ткани служит диагностическим признаком немелкоклеточного рака легких. Предложенное изобретение позволяет с высокой достоверностью диагностировать немелкоклеточный рак легких, включая плоскоклеточный рак, в том числе на самой ранней стадии прогрессии опухолевой трансформации.
