Данное изобретение относится к новому классу регуляторов роста растений. В частности, изобретение относится к производным конденсированных азепинонов общей формулы (I) или их соли, приемлемой в земледелии,где Х означает CORили Н; Y означает ОН, NHNRR, NHNHC(=Z)NRRили NHNHC(=Z)CRRR; или Х и Y вместе с двумя атомами углерода, к которым они присоединены, образуют кольцо формулы (А)а также к способу обработки растений такими соединениями с целью вызывания ответных реакций, связанных с регулированием роста растений.
