Abstract
Установка для генерирования информации, указывающей глубину и ориентацию объекта, расположенного под поверхностью земли, предназначена для использования электромагнитного излучения, излучаемого и принимаемого антенной системой, связанной с установкой. Установка содержит передатчик и приемник соответственно для генерирования электромагнитного излучения совместно с антенной системой и для приема электромагнитного излучения, отраженного от объекта, совместно с антенной системой. Антенная система содержит множество индивидуальных антенных элементов, имеющих по существу линейную поляризацию, преимущественно дипольных антенн, которые размещены по отношению к геометрическому центру антенной системы так, что каждый из центров антенных элементов смещен относительно геометрического центра антенной системы, при этом установка содержит средство для вращения механическим или электронным способом антенной системы и, тем самым, поляризации электромагнитного поля вокруг или относительно геометрического центра антенной системы.Международная заявка была опубликована вместе с отчетом о международном поиске.
