Abstract

Система для программирования пользователем системных параметров сотового радиотелефона (100). Значения данных для системных параметров хранятся в энергонезависимом запоминающем устройстве (112) в сотовом радиотелефоне. В области (116) памяти пароля хранится один или несколько предварительно установленных паролей. После покупки радиотелефона (100) пользователь звонит по определенному телефонному номеру и получает один из предварительно установленных паролей. Пользователь включает режим программирования и вводит заранее установленный пароль с кнопочного номеронабирателя (20). Если введенный пользователем пароль совпадает с хранимым заранее установленным паролем, то сотовый радиотелефон (100) разрешает пользователю доступ к, по меньшей мере, части системных параметров в энергонезависимом запоминающем устройстве (112). Счетчик (120) следит за числом попыток программирования пользователем и прекращает программирование после заданного числа неудачных попыток или после успешного программирования всех значений требуемых системных параметров.Отчет о международном поиске опубликован 1998.10.07.
