Abstract
Изобретение относится к системе и способу идентификации отдельных животных на основе изображений, например 3D-изображений, животных, в частности крупного рогатого скота и коров. Если животных содержат в зонах или огороженных местах, в которых они свободно перемещаются, может быть сложно идентифицировать отдельное животное. В первом аспекте настоящее изобретение относится к способу определения идентичности отдельного животного в совокупности животных с известной идентичностью, причем способ включает следующие этапы: получение по меньшей мере одного изображения спины предварительно выбранного животного, извлечение данных из указанного по меньшей мере одного изображения, относящихся к анатомии спины и/или топологии спины предварительно выбранного животного, и сравнение и/или сопоставление указанных полученных данных с эталонными данными, соответствующими анатомии спины и/или топологии спины животных с известной идентичностью, таким образом, для идентификации предварительно выбранного животного. Данные способ и система могут быть использованы для контроля потребления корма, например, потребления корма молочными коровами, а также для контроля состояния здоровья.
