Abstract

The invention relates to electrical energy industry and may be used in wind-power engineering, hydraulic power engineering and other industries. The technical result of the proposed invention consists in reduced energy losses for small wind and water flows, an increased efficiency factor of the mechanic-to-electric power conversion, an increased specific power and reliability of the generator operation. The technical result is achieved by provision of a generator comprising a flywheel rotor (1) with alternating polarity magnets (2) located on its outside edge, the rotor being fixed on a shaft (3) that rotates on two bearings (8). The stator comprises a housing (5) with attached cored coils (6, 7) symmetrically located on both sides of the rotor. The number of the magnets exceeds that of the coils. The technical result, i.e. improvement of the generator operation reliability through the absence of sticking of magnetic conductors with magnets and of an additional flywheel is achieved due to the fact that the rotor is made as a flywheel of a large diameter and weight concentrated over the ring due to the magnets located on the rotor edge, and the stator coils located on both sides of the rotor to prevent sticking. Another technical result is reduction of the rotor weight through the use of a ring made of a non-conducting material (e.g., aluminum) where the magnets are enclosed, the ring being attached to the shaft using rods (4). According to the proposed generator structure the rotor magnets and the stator windings are located on the same radius but in different parallel planes relative to the flywheel rotor.
