Abstract

The invention is related to items of furniture and is directed to higher functionality of a table (broadening of functional capabilities of a table) by combining, in a single piece of furniture, two items (a dining table and a bar counter) with different properties, and to economy of the floor-space. Said technical result is attained in a transformer table comprising a vertically oriented support having vertical guides on its two sides, a panel connected to the vertically oriented support and rotatable by an angle of 90° in respect of the support, L-shaped cantilevers movable in a reciprocate manner along the vertical guides and comprising horizontal guides, and a table top connected to the horizontal guides and movable along them in a reciprocate manner, support members rotatable by an angle of 90° being fastened to the bottom plane of the table top.

Description

The invention relates to furniture, in particular to a transforming table into a bar (or a bar transforming into a table), and is intended mainly for kitchens of a small area and small studio apartments, while this table can be used bar stools with adjustable tall.
A transformer table is known from the prior art, including a lower drawer belt with support elements, a top drawer belt with a tabletop mounted thereon, a mechanism for moving the upper drawer belt to a coffee / dining table position made in the form of a hinge mechanism such as scissors, and a table position fixing mechanism wherein the movement mechanism is made in the form of frames, each of which is formed by two levers connected to the frame by cross members, the levers of the frames intersect and are pivotally connected to form scissors, the ends of the levers on one side of the mechanism are pivotally connected to the upper and lower collet belts, respectively, and the opposite ends of the levers are installed in the corresponding guide grooves made in the upper and lower and collet belts, with the possibility of movement along the grooves (KI 145719, 27.09 .2014).
The disadvantage of this design is its complexity, which reduces the operational characteristics of the table.
Known adjustable table comprising a housing, a countertop mounted in the housing with the ability to move in a vertical plane, a mechanism for moving and fixing the countertop associated with its end faces, including two drums connected by a common shaft, through each of which a cable is thrown, and a control lever, friction the clutch, while the control lever is made foot (KI 2090128, 09/20/1997).
The disadvantage of this solution is the complex mechanism for moving and fixing the countertops, which reduces the manufacturability of its manufacture and ease of use.
A height-adjustable table is known which comprises a tabletop, a supporting frame, mobile elements for sliding mounting of a tabletop on a supporting frame, and at least one linear actuator for moving the tabletop relative to the supporting frame to a position that is at a height convenient for the user (OB 2081080, 02.17.1982).
The disadvantage of this solution is the complexity of the design and operation, as well as the inability to transform the table to use it, for example, as a bar counter.
The problem to which the proposed invention is directed, is to create a stolatransformer that would eliminate the above disadvantages.
The technical result achieved by the implementation of this invention is to increase the functionality of the table (expanding the functionality of the table) by obtaining two items in one piece of furniture (a dining table and a bar) with different properties, saving space.
The specified technical result is achieved in the table-transformer containing a vertically oriented support having vertical guides on two sides, a panel connected to a vertically oriented support with the possibility of rotation relative to it by an angle of 90 °, shaped consoles made with the possibility of reciprocating movement along vertical guides and containing horizontal guides, and a countertop having the ability to reciprocate along horizontal guides and the lower plane of which is attached with the possibility of rotation through an angle of 90 ° supporting elements.
The supporting elements are legs located on two sides of the lower plane of the countertop and are inoperatively fixed on it.
The vertically oriented support is made in the form of a panel of rectangular shape or is a rectangular frame structure.
A vertically oriented support is made with the possibility of fastening to the wall or vertically to the floor using brackets to ensure its stability.
The long sides of the vertically oriented support are parallel to the floor, and the short sides are vertically relative to the floor.
The panel is pivotally connected to a vertically oriented support with a small gap.
The panel has two working positions: vertical - in the same plane with a vertically oriented support with the possibility of forming a bar, and horizontal - at an angle of 90 ° to a vertically oriented support to form the surface of the dining table with a worktop.
The width of the panel is equal to the width of the vertically oriented support, and the height is equal to the difference in height of the dining table and bar from the floor to the countertop.
L-shaped consoles are interconnected by horizontal crossbars, which provide parallel, synchronous movement of the consoles along vertical guides, and together with the consoles they present a rigid frame structure.
Horizontal guides are located on the upper parts of the L-shaped consoles, which are horizontal bars.
The countertop is made in a rectangular shape.
- 1 028036
The long side of the countertop is equal to the width of the vertically oriented support and panel, and the short sides of the countertop are equal to the depth of the countertop of the bar.
Using a design feature and mechanisms, a transforming table allows you to transform from a dining table to a bar counter and vice versa and allows you to get two with different properties in one piece of furniture.
In the mode of the bar, the transformer table allows you to get a currently popular piece of furniture, allowing even in a truncated version to replace the table in everyday use for 3 people. A transforming table placed against the walls (it is possible to place it not on the wall provided that it is fixed to the floor), it helps to save valuable space in cramped kitchen and living rooms, especially near walkways.
In the dining table mode allows you to get a more familiar piece of furniture with the possibility of increasing the number of seats and the area of the working surface.
The invention is illustrated by drawings, where in FIG. 1 shows a transforming table forming a bar counter; in FIG. 2 - transforming table in the intermediate phase - the beginning of the transformation from the rack to the table; in FIG. 3 - transforming table in the intermediate phase - 1 step to the table; in FIG. 4 transforming table forming a dining table; in FIG. 5 is a front view of a transformer table forming a bar counter; in FIG. 6 is a front view of a transformer table forming a dining table.

The transformer table consists of a vertically oriented support 1 (a rectangular base of the panel or a rectangular frame structure), which is attached with the back plane to the wall 7 (or vertically to the floor 8, using brackets providing stability). The long sides of the support 1 are parallel to the floor 8, the short sides are vertically relative to the floor 8. With a small gap, the panel 5 is fastened to the upper long side of the support 1 by a hinge. The width of the panel 5 is equal to the width of the support 1, and the height is equal to the difference in ergonomic heights of the dining table and bar counter from floor 8 to countertop 6 (approximately 300 mm). The swivel connection of the panel 5 with the support 1 allows the panel 5 to rotate 90 ° around the axis of rotation 9, located in close proximity to its lower long side. Thus, the panel 5 has two working positions: vertical - in the same plane with the support 1, and horizontal - at an angle of 90 ° to the support 1.
To the short left and right vertical sides of the support 1, using guides 2, providing vertical movement along these sides, L-shaped consoles 3 are attached, left and right. They are interconnected by horizontal crossbars 11, which provide parallel, synchronous movement of the left and right consoles 3, and represent, in place with the L-shaped consoles 3, a rigid frame structure. To the horizontal crossbars of the L-shaped consoles 3, using guides 4, providing horizontal movement, a rectangular worktop 6 is attached. The long side of the countertop 6 is equal to the width of the support 1 and panel 5. The short sides of the countertop 6 are equal to the ergonomic depth of the countertop of the bar counter.
At the lower plane of the tabletop 6, not far from its front corners, using the hinges at the upper ends, the supporting elements 10 (two legs of the table) are attached. Thanks to the hinges, the supporting elements 10 can be folded 90 ° from the vertical working position to the horizontal, moving their lower ends to meet each other, in a plane parallel to the front edge of the countertop
6. The supporting elements 10 are fixed in both positions with special clamps. In the folded state, the supporting elements 10 are located with their lower ends to each other, under the lower plane of the countertop 6.
The claimed invention works as follows.
In the position of the bar: thanks to the vertical rails located on the sides of the vertically oriented support (main panel), the L-shaped consoles together with the tabletop are raised to the upper working position, equal to the ergonomic height of the bar, and are fixed by locking mechanisms. The vertically oriented support and the panel are arranged vertically in the same plane so that the panel is a continuation of the vertically oriented support to the lower edge of the countertop.
- 2 028036
The worktop, thanks to the horizontal guides, is pushed into the extreme position with the back side in a dense support to the panel and a vertically oriented support. The supporting elements are folded under the lower plane of the tabletop with the lower ends to each other and parallel to the front edge of the tabletop and are fixed with clamps.
The design of the dining table is translated as follows: the locking mechanism releases the L-shaped consoles and allows them to lower to the lower working position. The tabletop, freed from the latches, is pushed forward by the horizontal guides towards the user. L-shaped consoles in a place with a tabletop are lowered to the lower working position to a level equal to the ergonomic height of the tabletop. Then the tabletop is pushed forward to the user to the extreme position by a distance equal to the difference in the depths of the countertops of the bar counter and dining table, as well as equal to the height of the panel. Then, thanks to the swivel joint, the panel is rotated 90 ° from a vertical position (in the same plane with a vertically oriented support), into a horizontal one in the same plane with the counter top moved away, filling the vacant space behind the counter top. Thus, the panel increases its size and is its continuation.
Supporting elements (legs), freed from the latches from a horizontal position under the plane of the tabletop, are laid out 90 ° in a vertical position and provide support that has increased in size of the tabletop.
The invention due to its improved performance can be used in kitchens of small areas and small studio apartments.
