Abstract
Se describe un horno de inducción de tipo canal provisto de un piso del horno que se inclina hacia abajo desde una parte trasera operativa del crisol del horno hacia una parte frontal operativa opuesta del crisol, con una pared en la parte frontal del crisol que comprende una sección inferior y una sección superior, la sección inferior de la pared frontal se extiende aún más por el crisol que la sección superior de la pared frontal, y la sección inferior de la pared frontal que termina en un borde superior en contacto con la sección superior de la pared frontal, con un canal descendente a un calentador de inducción, localizado cerca de la pared frontal, que tiene una entrada en el piso en una localización cerca de la base de la pared frontal y el o cada canal ascendente tiene una salida en el piso en una localización en contacto con la base de la sección inferior de la pared frontal y con la sección inferior de la pared frontal que está provista de una ranura vertical que se extiende hacia arriba por encima del o de cada canal ascendente a través de esta y se abre hacia el borde superior de la sección inferior.
