Abstract
In a bed container 3, a fuel is combusted in a fluidized bed of a particulate material. The walls 41 of the bed container 3 are provided on their inner side with a layer of heat-insulating material 45. Members 67 with U-shaped cross section are arranged between fixing means, forming a lattice pattern. The flanges of the members are directed in towards the bed container chamber. Plates 71 cover fields which are formed between the members 67. These plates are provided with flanges 73 projecting in between the flanges of the members 67. The plates 71 are held in position by fixing means 75 and elements 63 which connect the fixing means 75 to the bed container wall 41. (Fig. 6). <IMAGE>
