Abstract

A wire strainer 6 with end pieces 6a, 6b provided with left and right threads, at least one guide surface 6c and at least one toothed track 6d between these is placed in a tool with guide surfaces and toothed drive, which interact with the guide surfaces and toothed track of the wire strainer. The tool is fixed against the wire strainer 6 with a tensioned band going around this. The wire strainer is placed between the end pieces 4, 5 of the armoured wire after which the ends of the wire strainer are screwed together with the end pieces using the tool.
