Abstract

Pipe channel placed below the surface of the earth and comprising an open shroud 3, open at the bottom 1 and standing on the bottom 1 of an open pipe channel trench 2, the upper side of the shroud being provided with closable openings 9. In the longitudinal direction of the shroud, at least one tubular means 4 is placed, which along its extension is carried by carrier means 5 preferably consisting of blocks placed on the bottom 1. The shroud 3 is filled with foam concrete having closed pores and manufactured from cement, water and a two- component foaming agent. The carrier means 5 is preferably constituted by foam concrete. The sides of the sheath 3 are preferably provided at the bottom with flanges 8 directed outwards from the pipe channel. The pipe channel gives a moisture free heat insulation of district heating pipes. <IMAGE>
