Abstract

Packaging, which consists of sealable cardboard or the like, with two sides (2, 3) and two end walls (4, 5), which are connected by means of a longitudinal seam, and with a transverse sealing seam at the upper and the lower end of the packaging respectively, a tab (22) being formed, at least in the region of one transverse sealing seam, on one of the extension flaps (12) of one side wall (3) which are to be sealed to one another, which tab extends over the entire width of said wall and engages over the other extension flap (11) and covers its free cut edge.
