Abstract

The present invention relates to a rotatable heat exchanger 10 for recovering heat or cold and/or moisture from air flows. The heat exchanger consists of a box 12 which comprises air flow ducts 16, 18. The heat exchanger rotor 22 is a part of a rotor unit 55 which can be withdrawn and which comprises a frame 28 on which the rotor is suspended, a transverse wall 56 which has an opening in order to make space for the rotor, a rotor drive motor 40 and a cover plate 38 which is designed to cover an opening 36 in the box 12, through which the rotor unit can be withdrawn. Arranged between the transverse wall 56 and the peripheral surface 62 of the rotor 22 is a radially directed peripheral seal 60, to which, within the area of the frame 28, an axial seal 82 and a diametral seal 48, respectively, are connected.
