Abstract

For the sealed ducting of a tube (5) through an outer wall (1) of a prefabricated part, e.g. a steel concrete container, a recess (6) surrounding the wall opening and open towards it is provided in a surface of the wall (1), the recess (6) holding a sealing ring (7) of elastic material and its contour corresponding to that of the sealing ring (7). A loose flange (9) is used to activate the seal, the flange (9) being capable of being pressed against the seal by screw bolts (11) anchored in threaded sleeves (12) in the wall (1). Since the seal is produced directly between the sealing ring (7) and the surface of the part, not only are installation parts saved but a seal is produced which is reliable in any situation. By means of the arrangement of a recess (6) which is matched to the contour of the sealing ring (7), the sealing ring provides a supporting bearing against deformation in the radial direction outwards, so that the deformation force produced in the axial direction on compression of the sealing ring (7) acts radially inwards in a sealing manner over the complete circumference against the outer surface (8) of the tube (5). <IMAGE>
