Abstract
The invention relates to a joint between a pipe and a rod or another pipe which forms an angle with the first pipe. The joint is provided with a ring which is arranged around the rod or the pipe and fastened to the latter and divided in at least one place in such a manner that the two ends of the ring delimit a mouth and continue in two legs which are parallel both to one another and to a plane through the longitudinal axis of the rod and which together form a plug which extends into the first- mentioned pipe and has at least one screw bolt in a threaded hole in the joint, the bolt being adapted so as to be capable of being tightened and loosened from outside in such a manner that the plug can be fixed in the first-mentioned pipe at the same time as the ring is fastened to the rod or the other pipe. The invention is characterized in that the ring consists of a clamping band in one or more parts 3, 3a, 3b consisting of a plate material, and in that the threaded hole 6 for the bolt 7, 15 is arranged in one of the two legs in the plug or in each plug, and in that a hole 9, 21 and 10, 19, which allows a wrench 11 to pass through so that it is possible to turn the bolt 7, 15 around its longitudinal axis, is arranged in the other leg 5, 12 in the plug in question, and in the wall of the first pipe 2 directly opposite the other leg, and in that the threaded hole 6 and the other two holes 9, 21 and 10, 19 are coaxial, and their axes of rotation lie at right angles to the rod or the other pipe, and in that the wall of the first pipe constitutes a stop for the insertion end of the bolt. The invention also relates to a support which is characterized in that the support consists of a band which has an at least semi-circular section which passes around a pipe of the bearing construction, with an adjacent leg which is directed radially outwards, the curved part diametrically opposite the leg having a radially inwardly directed projection or pin which fits in a hole in the pipe or in a blind hole in the screw bolt in the joint. <IMAGE>
