Abstract

In an entirely closed and efficiently heat-insulated greenhouse 2 the greater part of the floor area is utilised for one or more water tanks 6, which by means of a heat pump system is in heat-exchanging connection with the air in the greenhouse, by means of which daily fluctuations of the air temperature can be compensated for. Heating and cooling are also performed as required, and the air is dehumidified and cleaned as necessary. The water tanks 6, which are thereby also kept warm all year round, are used as fish farming units for fry, and plants are cultivated on a plurality of levels 10, 12, as a result of which the greenhouse can be utilised particularly intensively without the added cultivation levels, including the fish fry, requiring any noticeable additional energy supply. The fish sediment can be used as a constituent of fertiliser for the plants, whilst purified water from an internal purification system or from the said dehumidification is used for watering the plants. <IMAGE>
