Claims (12)

1. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af en elektrode til anvendelse i en elektrokemisk impedansspektroskopiteknik, hvilken fremgangsmåde omfatter: (a) fastgørelse af fotopolymeriserbare betainmonomerer til den plane overflade af et substrat, hvorved der opnås en ændret overflade af fotopolymeriserbare betainmonomerer placeret derpå; derefter (b) etablering af kontakt mellem den ændrede overflade og yderligere fotopolymeriserbare betainmonomerer, og eventuelt tværbindende monomerer, og fotokemisk polymerising af monomererne, hvorved der genereres en elektrode omfattende polymerer placeret på den plane overflade; hvor fastgørelsen af laget af fotopolymeriserbare betainmonomerer i trin (a) i alt væsentligt er afsluttet inden etablering af kontakt mellem den modificerede overflade og yderligere fotopolymeriserbare betainmonomerer, og eventuelt tværbindende monomerer, og den fotokemiske polymerisering udføres i trin (b).
2. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, hvor de fotopolymeriserbare betainmonomerer hver omfatter en fotopolymeriserbar carbon-carbon-dobbcltbinding.
3. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1 eller 2, hvor de fotopolymeriserbare betainmonomerer hver omfatter en kvatemær ammoniumkation og en carboxy latgrupp e.
4. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 3, hvor de fotopolymeriserbare betainmonomerer har formlen (II)
(H) hvor: Ri og R3 er ens eller forskellige og hver er en Ci- til Cs-alkylengruppe; R2 og R2’ er ens eller forskellige og hver er en Ci- til C5-alkylgruppe; R4 er et hydrogenatom eller et Q- til CValkylgruppc; og X er O eller NH.
5. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 4, hvor de fotopolymeriserbare betainmonomerer er udvalgt fra carboxybetainmethacrylat (CBMA), carboxybetainacrylamin (CBAA) og carboxybetainethylacrylat (CBEA).
6. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 5, der endvidere omfatter (c) fastgørelse af sondemolekyler, der er i stand til specifikt at binde til en målart, til polymererne.
7. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 6, hvor målarten er insulin.
8. Elektrode, der kan opnås ved hjælp af fremgangsmåden som defineret i et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 7.
9. Fremgangsmåde til detektering af en målart i en elektrokemisk impedansspektroskopiteknik, hvor fremgangsmåden omfatter: (a) etablering af kontakt mellem en elektrode som defineret i krav 8 og et bærermedium, der omfatter målarten; og (b) detektering af et elektrisk signal.
10. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 9, der er en fremgangsmåde til detektering af insulin i en non-Faraday elektrokemisk impedansspektroskopiteknik, hvor fremgangsmåden omfatter: (a) etablering af kontakt mellem en elektrode, der kan opnås ved hjælp af en fremgangsmåde som defineret i krav 7, og et bærermedium, der omfatter insulin; (b) detektering af et elektrisk signal; og (c) beregning af koncentrationen af insulin ud fra det elektriske signal, hvor koncentrationen af insulin beregnes ud fra en faseændring i ct elektrisk signal, der fremkommer efter binding af insulinet til sondemolekyleme.
11. Elektrokemisk impedansspektrometer, der omfatter en elektrode som defineret i krav 8.
12. Anvendelse af en elektrode som defineret i krav 8 til detektering af en målart ved hjælp af en elektrokemisk impedansspektroskopiteknik.
