Claims (2)
1. Fremgangsmåde til at afkode en video ved at anvende dataenhedssammenlægning, hvor fremgangsmåden omfatter: at tilvejebringe et overspringsflag for en kodningsenhed fra en modtagen bitstrøm, hvilket overspringsflag indikerer, hvorvidt en indkodningsmodus for kodningsenheden er i en overspringsmodus; og at tilvejebringe information om en partitionstype til forudsigelse fra bitstrømmen, og at bestemme mindst én partition fra kodningsenheden ved at anvende informationen om partitionstypen, når overspringsflaget indikerer en ikke-overspringsmodus; at tilvejebringe et sammenlægningsflag fra den modtagne bitstrøm; at tilvejebringe et sammenlægningsindeks for partitionen og at bestemme bevægelsesinformation for partitionen ved at anvende bevægelsesinformation af en blok, som sammenlægningsindekset indikerer, at udføre bevægelseskompensation på partitionen ved at anvende den bestemte bevægelsesinformation af blokken, som sammenlægningsindekset indikerer, når sammenlægningsflaget for partitionen indikerer en sammenlægningsmodus, at tilvejebringe bevægelsesinformation for partitionen fra den modtagne bitstrøm, at udføre bevægelseskompensation på partitionen ved at anvende den tilvejebragte bevægelsesinformation, når sammenlægningsflaget for partitionen indikerer en ikke-sammenlægningsmodus; kendetegnet ved at sammenlægningsindekset indikerer én blok blandt en sammenlægningskandidatblokgruppe, der omfatter én eller flere blokke blandt de følgende tre nærtliggende blokke af partitionen: en nedre-venstre blok, som er placeret på en venstre side af en blok, der er yderst til venstre, blandt nedre blokke direkte under en nedre grænse af partitionen, en øvre-venstre blok, som er placeret på en venstre side af en blok, der er yderst til venstre, blandt øvre blokke direkte over en øvre grænse af partitionen, hvor den øvre-venstre blok er placeret over en øverste blok blandt de venstre blokke tilstødende til den venstre grænse af partitionen, og en øvre-højre blok, som er placeret på en højre side af en blok, der er yderst til højre, blandt øvre blokke direkte over en øvre grænse af partitionen.
2. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, hvor bevægelsesinformationen omfatter mindst en af en bevægelsesvektorforskel, et referenceindeks og information om en referenceretning.
