Description
Description [0001] The invention relates to a system, comprising a support frame including frame parts connected to one another, a filter element which can be fixed therein, and at least two fixing devices, wherein each frame part exhibits at least partially an L-shaped cross-section, with a locating arm and with a side arm formed on the outside thereof, wherein the support frame is configured in particular as circumferential, and wherein the outer contour of the filter element is configured in such a way that the filter element can be reversibly inserted into the support frame, and, by means of the at least two fixing devices, arranged so as to be distributed over the circumference of the filter element, can be fixed opposite the support frame.
[0002] The formulation of “frame parts connected to one another” is understood to mean, for example, an embodiment in which the support frame consists of at least two separate frame parts, which are connected to one another, for example, at the corners by means of screwing. The support frame can, however, also be configured as one piece. With such an exemplary embodiment, the support frame is angled at the corners in a corresponding manner, and the two free ends are connected to one another.
[0003] With known systems, the fixing devices are configured as wire bars, wherein each wire bar is secured to a frame part such as to pivot, and the free end is guided, for the fixing, underneath a link plate which is arranged on the adjacent frame part. Releasing them therefore requires, on the one hand, that the wire bar be pushed down, and, on the other, a lateral displacement, with the result that both assembly and disassembly are elaborate procedures. In addition, in order to release the filter element, all the wire bars must be released from the support frame. From DE 102 35 407 A1, a filter is known with a plate-shaped filter element according to the preamble of claim 1. The object of the invention is to avoid the disadvantages referred to, and to provide a system with which the installation and also the removal of the filter element are easier.
[0004] This object is solved in that at least one fixing device comprises a fixing element which is configured as elastic and/or spring-mounted, with a contact region, wherein the fixing element can be temporarily displaced out of its fixing position, in which it fixes the filter element in the support frame, in order to insert the filter element into the support frame or to remove the filter element out of the support frame, being displaced against its resetting force in the direction of the adjacent side arm, and, due to its resetting force, this is followed by automatic reverting back into its fixing position.
[0005] The filter element can be configured in any desired manner. For example, the filter element usually comprises a frame, into which a suitable filter material is inserted. The filter element can, for example, also comprise bag filters which are arranged next to one another.
[0006] The support frame usually exhibits boreholes in the region of its side arms, through which screws or rivets are introduced for the fixing of the support frame to the inside of a channel. The fixing devices are distributed at least approximately uniformly over the circumference. Inasmuch as this comprises a rectangular support frame, for example, it is possible for a fixing device to be arranged in each of the four corners.
[0007] When the filter element is inserted, it simply needs to be pressed into the support frame. In this situation, the fixing elements are displaced outwards, against their resetting force, i.e. in the direction of the adjacent side arm. Once the filter element has passed the fixing elements, an automatic return movement of the fixing elements takes place, such that the filter element is securely held by the contact areas of the fixing elements taking effect on it, and a pressing effect into the support frame is exerted.
[0008] If it is intended that the filter element is to be removed, all that is required is for one or more of the fixing elements to be displaced outwards, against its resetting force, such that the filter element can then be taken out. The dimensions of the fixing elements are selected in such a way that the filter element can be brought into its fixing position. The contact region can be configured as a line or as a flat surface.
[0009] The distance interval between the locating arm on the one hand and the contact region on the other hand can correspond at least approximately to the thickness, in particular exactly to the thickness, of the filter element in the fixed region of the filter element. This results in the secure fixing of the filter element in the support frame.
[0010] At least one fixing device can be a part of the side arm itself. In this case, the fixing device is configured as one piece with the side arm.
[0011] At least one fixing element can be configured as a part region of the side arm, projecting inwards opposite the general extension of this side arm. “Projecting inwards” is understood to be an alignment with which the part region projects into the suspension frame, and to this extent the fixing element fixes the filter element in the fixing position. The contact region is arranged, for example, at the free end of the fixing element.
[0012] As an alternative, at least one fixing device can be configured as a separate component, which can be secured to the support frame, in particular on the inner side of at least one side arm. The support frame can consist of sheet metal or of another suitable material. The fixing device can consist, for example, of a plastic or of another suitable material. The fixing device can be connected to the support frame by adhesive bonding, for example. Other connections are of course also possible, such as screw or rivet connections.
[0013] It is of advantage if the support frame comprises on its inner side at least one link plate, and preferably two link plates, arranged at a distance from one another, facing one another and directed inwards, wherein each plate forms an insertion region with the adjacent region of the side arm, in particular in the form of a slot, and if the fixing device comprises a number of support regions which correspond the number of link plates. Seen in the direction of insertion, the link plate can be configured as open on one side or closed on both sides. The fixing device must be guided with each support region into the corresponding slot-shaped insertion region. This configuration allows for a simple replacement of a fixing device in the event, for example, of it being damaged.
[0014] Preferably, all the link plates are allocated to at least one fixing device on a common frame part of the support frame.
[0015] With at least one fixing device, seen in the direction of insertion, at least support region can be formed projecting laterally over the side edge of the fixing device.
[0016] With at least one fixing device, two support regions can be provided, wherein, at each of the two side edges of the fixing devices aligned parallel to the direction of insertion, and in each case, a support region is arranged. With such an embodiment, the fixing device is fixed on both sides, which ensures a secure fixing.
[0017] With at least one fixing device, both support regions can be configured such as to project laterally over the respective side edge.
[0018] As an alternative, the link plates of at least one fixing device can be arranged above the corner in each case at one frame part of two frame parts of the support frame adjacent to this corner, i.e. at frame parts which are separated but touching one another, wherein the one support region of the corresponding fixing device, seen in the insertion direction, is configured such as to project laterally over the side edge of the fixing device, and the other support region is configured facing forwards, such that both link plates are arranged at an angle to one another, in particular at a right angle. “Facing forwards” is understood to mean that the support region concerned, in the installed position of the fixing device, faces in the direction of the opposite frame part.
[0019] At least one link plate can be arranged on the inner side of the side arm.
[0020] It is of advantage if at least one link plate is configured as a part region projecting from the side arm, in particular prepared by a bending process. Such a plate can be produced, for example, by punching and subsequent bending.
[0021] In order to avoid an unintentional release of the fixing device out of the installation position, the fixing device, in its installation position, can be brought into a latch engagement connection with the support frame.
[0022] On the one hand, the fixing device can comprise, on the side facing the side arm, a projection configured as elastic and/or spring-mounted, and, on the other, either a cut-out aperture can be provided in the side arm which, in the installation position, corresponds to the projection, or the side arm can comprise an inwards directed latch engagement projection, behind which the projection engages in the installation position of the fixing device. Such an arrangement allows on the one hand for a simple installation and, on the other, for the simple disassembly of a fixing device, if, for example, this is damaged. An inverse arrangement is of course also possible, of the projection on the one hand and of the cut-out aperture or latch engagement projection on the other.
[0023] At least one fixing device can exhibit, on its side facing the filter element in the fixing position, at least one centring projection. This centring projection preferably increases in depth, seen in the insertion direction, such that, when inserted, the filter element is moved into the desired fixing position.
[0024] It is advantageous if the filter element is sealed against the filter element by a seal, in particular by a circumferential seal arranged on the locating arm. Due to the pressing of the filter element onto a seal located in the support frame, a gas-tight connection is ensured. The seal can of course also be provided at the filter element.
[0025] The invention is explained hereinafter by way of exemplary embodiments of the invention, represented in the drawings.
The figures show:
Fig. 1 An oblique view from above onto a support frame,
Fig. 2 the object according to Fig. 1 with the filter element inserted,
Fig. 3 the detail “X” from Fig. 2,
Fig. 4 the detail Ύ” from Fig. 1,
Fig. 5 a region of the suspension frame of an alternative embodiment.
[0026] In all the figures, concordant reference numbers are used for components which are the same or of the same type.
[0027] In Figures 1 to 5, two different embodiments of a system according to the invention are represented.
[0028] The system according to the invention comprises a support frame 1, which in the exemplary embodiment represented is configured as rectangular. The support frame 1 in the exemplary embodiment is configured as being of one piece. The support frame 1 is angled at the four corners, such that the support frame 1 comprises a total of four frame parts 2. The two free ends are connected to one another. Each frame part 2 exhibits an L-shaped cross-section, with a locating arm 3 and a side arm 4 formed on the outside thereof. Provided in the region of the side arm 4 is a circumferential seal 5.
[0029] It is possible for a filter element 6 to be inserted into the support frame 1, which, for example, is built into a channel, not represented in any greater detail, of a ventilation system and/or into an RTL device. For the installation of the support frame 1 in a channel or for connection to one another to form a channel wall, boreholes 7 are provided in the side arm 4. With the exemplary embodiment represented in Figure 2, the filter element 6 comprises a filter insert. Other embodiment forms of a filter element 6 are of course possible.
[0030] The outer contour of the filter element 6 is configured in such a way that the filter element 6 can be inserted reversibly into the support frame 1. For the fixing of the filter element 6 in the support frame 1, with the exemplary embodiment according to Figs. 1 to 4, a total of four fixing devices 8 are arranged in the four corners, as is represented in detail in Figure 4 in particular.
[0031] With the exemplary embodiment represented in Figures 1 to 4, each fixing device 8 is configured as a separate component, which can be reversibly secured to the support frame 1. For this purpose, for each fixing device 8 a total of two link plates (9) are provided on the inner side of the side arm 4 of the support frame 1. Each link plate forms, with the adjacent region of the side arm 4, a slot-shaped insertion region 19.
[0032] The two corresponding link plates 9 of each fixing device 8 are arranged at a distance from one another, facing one another and aligned inwards. “Aligned inwards” is understood to mean such an alignment in which the link plates 9 point into the region spanned by the support frame 1.
[0033] The two corresponding link plates 9 are arranged over a corner. Accordingly, the one link plate 9 is provided on the first frame part 2, and the other link plate 9 on the adjacent other frame part 2 of the support frame 1.
[0034] Provided on each of the two side edges 11, aligned parallel to the direction of insertion (arrow 10), is a holding region 12, configured such as to project over the respective side edge 11. The holding region 12 on the one side edge 11 projects laterally over the fixing device 8, and therefore lies in the general extension of the fixing device 8, while the holding region 12 of the other side edge 11 projects forwards over this side edge 11, such that the fixing device 8 acquires an angled configuration, and can therefore interact with the link plates 9 arranged over the corner.
[0035] At the installation of the fixing device 8, each of the two holding regions 12, seen in the direction of insertion 10, inserts into its corresponding link plate 5, until the fixing device 8 has reached its installation position. With the exemplary embodiments represented in Figs. 1 to 4, each link plate 9, seen in the direction of insertion, is configured as being opened on one side.
[0036] On the side facing the side arm 4, the fixing device 8 comprises an elastically configured projection 13. Allocated to each projection 13 is a cut-out opening 14, provided in the side arm 4, which in the installation position of the fixing device 8 corresponds to the associated projection 13. The edge of each cut-out opening 14 aligned parallel to the locating arm 3, and arranged closer to the locating arm 3, is configured as a snap engagement projection 14a, curved inwards. On reaching the installation position, the projection 13 snap engages behind the snap engagement projection 14a.
[0037] On the side opposite the side arm 4, each fixing device 8 comprises a fixing element 15, which is configured as elastic and/or mounted under spring force. The fixing element 15 comprises a contact region 16. The fixing element 15 can be temporarily displaced out of its fixing position, represented in Fig. 4, in order to insert the filter element 6 into the support frame 1 or to remove the filter element 6 out of the support frame 1 against its resetting force, in the direction (arrow 17) of the adjacent side arm 4, such that the filter element 6 can be inserted or removed. Due to its resetting force, the fixing element 15 can then be automatically returned into position.
[0038] As can be seen from Fig. 4, the free end of each fixing element 15 is configured as a contact region. In the fixing position, the contact region 16 of each fixing device 8 interacts with the upper side of the filter element 6. In addition, provided at each holding region 12, on the side of each fixing device 8 facing towards the filter element 6, is a centring projection 18. Accordingly, the support frame 1 comprises a total of eight centring projections 18, which automatically centre the filter element 6 at insertion, and hold it in a centred position.
[0039] Represented in Fig. 5 is an alternative embodiment of a fixing device 8. Here, the fixing device 8 is a part of the side arm 4 itself. The fixing element 15 is in this situation configured as a part region of the side arm 4, projecting inwards opposite the general extension of the side arm 4. This part region can, for example, be produced by punching out and then bending. With such an exemplary embodiment, the frame part 2 is made, for example, of sheet metal, such that the fixing element 15, formed as a part region, is configured as elastically spring-loaded. The means of effect is identical to that with the fixing device 8 according to Figures 1 to 4.
