Description
The invention relates to a fastening device for connecting a pivotable furniture part, for example a furniture door, which can be raised and lowered, of a kitchen cupboard, comprising a fastening arm of a furniture hinge which has at least one hinge lever and is supported on a furniture body, comprising a base body and a connecting piece fixable thereto, the furniture door and the fastening arm being fixable to one another by means of the base body and the connecting piece and the base body being attached, for this purpose, to either the furniture door or the fastening arm and the connecting piece being attached to the other part (furniture door or fastening arm), which is not connected to the base body, and the base body having at least one adjustment apparatus for adjusting the position of the furniture door in relation to the furniture body, by means of which adjustment apparatus the position of the furniture door can be adjusted in relation to the furniture body orthogonally and/or in parallel with the plañe of the furniture door and the base body being designed as a multi-part presettable component which is preassembled in order to adjust the position of the furniture door. EP 0 979 917 A discloses a fastening device of the type mentioned at the outset, comprising a hinge having a hinge arm to be fastened to a base píate without the use of tools by means of an intermedíate piece, the position of the hinge arm relative to the base píate being able to be adjusted by means of adjustment wheels. The supporting arm bears all the adjustment means which are required for adjusting the position of a furniture door in relation to a furniture body, but not the base píate itself. Therefore, the base body cannot be provided as a preset and assembled base body part either. WO 2007/045631 discloses a fastening device for a hinged furniture door on a furniture body, in which the hinge lever can be connected to the furniture door by means of a base píate. The base píate has two adjustment means in the form of two cams, in order to be able to fix the position. This can, however, only be carried out in two planes, not in three planes. The cams can also be brought into a modified position only by means of tools.
Therefore, it is disadvantageous overall that fastening the fastening apparatuses can be carried out only with tools. If the position of the furniture door is to be adjusted, this also requires the use of tools. In particular, this is only possible in the known fastening apparatuses with increased complexity in order to readjust the furniture door at a later point in time after first installation.
The object of the present invention is to provide a fastening apparatus of the above-mentioned type, by means of which a furniture door can be connected to the furniture hinge without the use of tools as far as possible, and in which it is likewise possible to adjust the position of the furniture door, even at a later point in time, without installing parts.
To achieve this object, the fastening device of the type mentioned at the outset is characterised by the features disclosed in claim 1.
Therefore, a fastening apparatus for connecting a pivotable furniture part comprising the fastening arm of a furniture hinge is provided, by means of which the pivotable furniture part can be connected to the connecting arm of the hinge without the use of tools and in which, even at a later point in time, the furniture door can be adjusted by the adjustment means, which project beyond at least one body side of the base body. This can also take place without the use of tools, by the adjustment means being designed as handwheels or adjustment wheels which pass through an opening in a base body and are accessible from the outside for an operator, even at a later point in time.
The base body and the connecting piece of the fastening apparatus may be provided on either the furniture door or the fastening arm. Generally, however, the base body is to be fastened to the furniture door, for example by a screw connection, and the connecting piece is welded to the connecting arm. By means of e.g. simple latching, the base body and connecting piece can then be fixed to one another, whereby the pivotable furniture part can be fastened to the furniture body or to the hinge thereof in an exceptionally time-saving manner. The base body itself can be provided as a multi-part preassembled component, the base píate and adjuster plates thereof being able to be fastened to the pivotable furniture part in their completed form, by means of e.g. riveting or a screw connection, having adjustment means and associated parts therebetween. After corresponding latching to the connecting piece, the furniture door can be finely adjusted without the use of tools.
With regard to further advantageous embodiments of the invention, reference is made to further dependent claims, the following description and the drawings, in which:
Fig. 1 and 2 are each a perspective side view of a detail of a tall kitchen cupboard, having a cupboard door which can pivot open and which is connected to a furniture hinge, which is attached to the furniture body, by means of an embodiment of a fastening apparatus,
Fig. 3 is a perspective exploded view of an embodiment of a fastening apparatus according to the invention,
Fig. 4 is a plan view of the embodiment according to Fig. 3, and
Fig. 5 is a sectional view along the sectional line (dashed-dotted line) A-A in Fig. 4.
In the drawings, parts with substantially the same function are provided with like reference numeráis.
The schematic views according to Fig. 1 and 2 show an example of a detail of a tall cupboard, e.g. for insertion into a kitchen furniture front, which cupboard generally has the reference numeral 1. This tall cupboard has a furniture door 2 which in the view according to Fig. 1 closes the cupboard, but in Fig. 2 is swung out or lifted. In addition, a furniture hinge, which is generally denoted by 3, is provided which has two hinge levers 3.1 and 3.2 in the embodiments shown. In this example of a tall cupboard, the hinge lever 3.2 has, on the end, a cam disc 4 having an eccentric part 5 which guides a tensioned strip 6 which is flexible at least in portions and engages on the link part 7. A cylinder 8 is also provided on this link part 7. Various opening and closing torces can occur during the opening and closing movement of the furniture door by means of the link disc 4 and the tensioned strip. A hinge arm 9 engages with the hinge lever 3.1 and is connected to the fastening apparatus, which is generally denoted by 10. The fastening arm is e.g. welded to the fastening apparatus 10.
As can be seen in more detail from Fig. 3 to 5, the fastening apparatus is designed to be multi-part, having substantially plate-shaped bodies, and has a base píate 11 and a cap-shaped connecting piece 12 and adjuster plates 13 and 14 arranged therebetween. In this case, the cap-shaped connecting piece 12 is preferably welded to the fastening arm 9. The base píate 11, the adjuster 13 and the adjuster 14 are preassembled to form a base body, which is generally denoted by 15, in which the parts have a corresponding basic position relative to one another, the base píate 11 of the base body 15 preferably being fastened to the furniture door 2. It is, of course, possible to fasten the preassembled structural unit of the base body 15 to the fastening arm 9 and to fix the connecting piece 12 to the furniture door 2. It is essential that the preassembled base body unit 15 and the connecting piece 12 can be fixed to one another without the use of tools, specifically by the fastening shoulders 14 simply latching and engaging under the adjuster píate 14, which is adjacent to the connecting piece 12, by means of corresponding connecting bars 12.1 on the connecting piece 12. The connecting piece 12 also has an opening 12.2, through which a pawl 14.2 of the adjuster píate 14 can pass and which, after corresponding latching, lies above the housing surface of the connecting piece 12 and connects the base body 15 in its entirety to the connecting piece 12 together with the connecting bars 12.1 and the fastening shoulder 14.1 (Fig. 5).
The base píate 11 and the adjuster plates 13 and 14 can be joined to the preassembled structural unit by riveting, e.g. at 11.1,13.1 and 14.3 and at other suitable points.
In order to adjust the position of the furniture door or to adjust it and to adjust the individual plates of the base body 15 together with the connecting piece 12 relative to one another or relative to the base píate 11, adjustment means are provided in the form of adjustment wheels 16, 17 and 18.
The adjustment wheels 16, 17 and 18 may be designed to be self-locking. The adjustment wheel 16 is used to adjust the furniture door in the longitudinal direction of the píate parts, corresponding to the direction of the arrow 16.1 in Fig. 3. Forthis purpose, the adjustment wheel 16 has, on its side of the facing the base píate 11, a spiral, groove-shaped recess 16.2 in which a peg-shaped pin 19 of the base píate 11 engages. By moving the handwheel or adjustment wheel 16, the adjuster píate is moved to the left or right along the course of the spiral groove depending on the direction in which the adjustment wheel 16 is moved, after which the base píate 11 and the furniture door 2 connected thereto are moved to the left or right in the longitudinal direction of the base body 15 depending on the direction of rotation of the adjustment wheel 16.
The corresponding movement play below the adjuster is provided for this purpose, as shown in detail in Fig. 5. The adjustment wheel 17 is able to adjust the furniture door 2 at a right angle to the furniture door plañe and thus at a right angle to the longitudinal direction of the píate elements, which is accompanied by an inclination adjustment of the door according to the arrow illustration 17.1 in Fig. 3. Forthis purpose, the adjustment wheel, which is formed as an adjustment wheel screw, has a thread 17.2 and a head end 17.3, by means of which the adjustment wheel is arranged in a fixed position on the base píate 11. By rotating the adjustment wheel screw 17, the base píate 11 is moved away from the adjuster 13 and the other parts of the base body, of the connecting piece 12 and finally of the hinge 3, and can thereby assume an inclined position, as shown by the inclined line 20 in Fig. 5.
The adjustment means 18, which is provided between the adjuster plates 13 and 14, is designed in a similar manner to the adjustment wheel 16 and likewise has a spiral groove 18.1 in which a peg 21 engages. The movement of this adjustment wheel makes a transverse adjustment according to the arrows 22 in Fig. 3 possible.
Overall, a fastening apparatus is therefore provided, the parts of which can be fixed to one another without the use of tools by simple latching. By means of the adjustment wheels protruding beyond the lateral extensión, i.e. the longitudinal side edges of the base body (see the plan view according to Fig. 4), specifically in relation to the two sides of the base body 15 and of the connecting piece 10, the position of the furniture door can be adjusted even after latching the connecting piece 10 to the base body 15 by simply operating the adjustment wheels or handwheels 16, 17 and 18, specifically likewise without the use of tools. In this case, the connecting piece 10 protrudes beyond the adjacent píate, i.e. the adjuster píate 14, until the point where the handwheels 16, 17, 18 leave the base body 15.
