Abstract

A temperature sensor (28), a conveyor motor (11) and a closure plate drive device (24) are connected to a control unit (27) which is designed to close the mixer outlet (17, 20) at a predetermined temperature and to rotate the motor in a transport direction (T) until a predetermined pressure has built up, and then to reverse the direction of rotation of this motor at least once until a predetermined set temperature value is reached, upon which the control device moves the closure plate (23), opens the outlet and the motor rotates in the transport direction. The device (1) comprises an inlet (13), a conveyor (8-10) for transporting a substance added via the inlet, a heating element for heating the substance, a motor for driving the conveyor, an outlet which can be closed off by means of a movable closure plate connected to a drive device for opening and closing the outlet, and a temperature sensor situated near the outlet.
