Abstract

The method involves determining actual position data of a vehicle (8) with the help of position information that are radiated by satellites, and comparing the determined actual position data with electronic stored geo data. The determined actual position data are compared with reference position data. A mismatch is determined from the comparison of the data, where all following, determined actual position data are corrected with the mismatch and are converted to the corrected actual position data. An independent claim is also included for a road charge collection system comprising mobile detection units for arrangement in a vehicle.
