Typically, the supporting column profile (24) will be part of the structural framework of a room partitioning system according to the present invention and hence provides for attaching the room partitioning sheet material (600) to the structural framework in the form of one or more supporting column profiles (24).Typically, the supporting column profile (24) will be part of the structural framework of a room partitioning system according to the present invention and hence provides for attaching the room partitioning sheet material (600) to the structural framework in the form of one or more supporting column profiles (24).
Fig. 6 shows in a perspective view one embodiment of a connecting rod (30) of a room partitioning system (200) according to the invention. The connecting rods (30) allow for extending a frame profile (400) by connecting in a longitudinal direction, two or more frame profiles (400). Fig 6 shows that one end (32) of a connecting rod (30) having an angle of 90° has been longitudinally inserted into the longitudinally extending cavity (86) of the rear surface of a frame profile (400) and that its other end (34) is about to be inserted into the longitudinally extending cavity (86) of the rear surface of another frame profile (400). Alternative to being angled, the connecting rod (30) may also be straight-lined.FIG. 6 shows in a perspective view one embodiment of a connecting rod (30) of a room partitioning system (200) according to the invention. Fig. 7 shows a cross-sectional view of one embodiment of a ground profile (50) of a room partitioning system (200) according to the invention. Fig. 7 shows that the ground profile (50) comprises a lower profile (52) and an upper profile (54). The upper profile accommodates a part of the lower profile in its interior cavity (58). The lower profile and the upper profile are having an extension in a longitudinal direction X, and an extension in a transverse direction Y, and in a direction Z perpendicular to the longitudinal direction X, and to the transverse direction Y.FIG. 7 shows a cross-sectional view of one embodiment of a ground profile (50) of a room partitioning system (200) according to the invention. FIG. 7 shows that the ground profile (50) comprises a lower profile (52) and an upper profile (54). The upper profile accommodates part of the lower profile in its interior cavity (58). The lower profile and the upper profile are having an extension in a longitudinal direction X, and an extension in a transverse direction Y, and in a direction Z perpendicular to the longitudinal direction X, and to the transverse direction Y.
The lower profile (52) comprises fastening means (56) for fastening said lower profile to the ground by bolting or screwing screws or bolts through the fastening means (56) and through the bottom part of the lower profile (52).The lower profile (52) comprises fastening means (56) for fastening said lower profile to the ground by bolting or screwing screws or bolts through the fastening means (56) and through the bottom part of the lower profile (52).
The upper profile (54) comprises a top surface (60). The top surface (60) comprising a longitudinally extending protrusion (62) adapted to be accommodated in the longitudinally extending recess (22) on the rear surface of a partitioning profile. The upper profile (54) comprises a top surface (60). The top surface (60) comprising a longitudinally extending protrusion (62) adapted to be accommodated in the longitudinally extending recess (22) on the rear surface of a partitioning profile.
The longitudinally extending protrusion (62) of said top surface (60) comprises a first longitudinally oriented L-shaped protrusion (82) and a second longitudinally oriented reshaped protrusion (84), both extending partly in a direction Z, perpendicular to the longitudinal direction X and to the transverse direction Y, thereby defining a longitudinally oriented cavity (86) between said first and second protrusion. The longitudinally oriented cavity thereby is having a longitudinal opening (88) in a middle part of said profile; said cavity having an opening part (90) and a bottom part (92). Said cavity (86) is having an extension, in a transverse direction, at its bottom part (92) which is larger than the extension, in a transverse direction, of the cavity at its opening part (90). This geometry accordingly allows locking the upper profile (54) to a partitioning profile (300) via one or more connecting clips in a way analogous to the principle set out in a previous section (connecting clip not shown in fig. 7).The longitudinally extending protrusion (62) of said top surface (60) comprises a first longitudinally oriented L-shaped protrusion (82) and a second longitudinally oriented reshaped protrusion (84), both extending partly in a Z direction, perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. X and to the transverse direction Y, thereby defining a longitudinally oriented cavity (86) between said first and second protrusion. The longitudinally oriented cavity thereby is having a longitudinal opening (88) in a middle portion of said profile; said cavity having an opening part (90) and a bottom part (92). 7).
By providing the fastening means (56) with vertically arranged threaded holes, it is possible to attach the upper profile (54) to the lower profile (56). This is accomplished by screwing in a screw in a vertically arranged hole in the material of bottom part of the longitudinally oriented cavity (86). In case more such screws are provided, this feature also allows adjusting the level in a longitudinal direction X of the upper profile (54) in relation to the lower profile (56).By providing the fastening means (56) with vertically arranged threaded holes, it is possible to attach the upper profile (54) to the lower profile (56). Fig. 7 additionally shows that a frame profile (400) accommodating a room partitioning sheet material (600) is arranged on top of the upper profile (54) of the ground profile (50) of a room partitioning system (200).FIG. 7 additionally shows that a frame profile (400) accommodating a room partitioning sheet material (600) is arranged on top of the upper profile (54) of the ground profile (50) of a room partitioning system (200).
Fig. 8 illustrates in an exploded view various components of a room partitioning system (200) according to the invention and how these components are interconnected. Fig 8 shows a ground profile (50) of a room partitioning system (200) according to the invention. The ground profile (50) comprises a lower profile (52) and an upper profile (54). The lower profile may be fastened to the ground by fastening means (56). The fastening means comprises a profile (56) being fastened by fastening screws as described above. On top of the ground profile (50) is arranged a partitioning profile (300) which carries a frame profile (400). The frame profile in turns carries a room partitioning sheet material (600). The same order of connected profiles and fittings applies in the horizontal direction from the room partitioning sheet material (600) outwards, and in a vertical direction from the room partitioning sheet material (600) upwards.FIG. 8 illustrates in an exploded view various components of a room partitioning system (200) according to the invention and how these components are interconnected.
