Abstract

A semi-mobile, collapsible crane has a mast 8 being swingable around a horizontal axis from a recumbent position to an upright position and reverse, and onto the free end of which a boom 10 is hinged which is swingable around a horizontal axis from a position of rest substantially in parallel with the mast 8, to a working position protruding from the mast 8 substantially in a transverse direction, and reverse. The mast 8 is dividable between its axis of swinging 7 on one side and the hinge joint 9 between the mast 8 and the boom 10 on the other side, and the boom 10 is dividable in such a way that the end parts 8c and 10c of the mast and the boom adjacent to the hinge joint 9 may be folded sideways inwards against the parts of the mast 8 and the boom 10 positioned closer to the swing-bearing 7 of the mast in the collapsed position of the crane. For road transport, the crane is only allowed to have a limited length, and by the features mentioned, the possibility is achieved for a reduction in length which is cheaper and lighter in weight than a solution comprising telescoping.
