Claims (11)
1
1. Apparat til måling eller overvågning af blodglucoseniveau hos et individ ved hjælp af måling af impedans i et subdermalt kropsvæv hos individet som følge af en elektrisk strøm, der strømmer gennem nævnte kropsvæv, og bestemmelse af et blodglucoseniveau hos nævnte individ baseret på den målte impedans, hvor nævnte apparat er et firpunktsudstyr, som er konfigureret til at udføre en firpunktsimpedansanalyse, hvilket apparat omfatter: - et par injektionselektroder, der er indrettet til injektion af elektrisk strøm ind i kropsvævet, hvor den elektriske strøm ledes gennem subdermalt eller subkutant væv hos nævnte individ, - et par måleelektroder, der er indrettet til detektion af den spænding, som forårsages af nævnte strøm, der injiceres af injektionselektrodeme, efter den er strømmet gennem kropsvævet, - et middel til måling af impedans i det subdermale kropsvæv mellem nævnte injektionselektroder og nævnte måleelektroder, - en mikroprocessor, der er operativt forbundet med midlet til måling af impedans, og som er programmeret til at bestemme et glucoseniveau i blodet hos individet baseret på en sammenligning af den målte impedans med et forudbestemt forhold mellem impedans i det subdermale kropsvæv og glucoseniveau.
2. Apparat ifølge krav 1, hvor det subdermale væv er muskel, fedt eller blodkar.
3. Apparat ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, der yderligere omfatter et amperemeter, et voltmeter og en elektrisk strømkilde til måling af impedansen i det subdermale kropsvæv mellem nævnte injektionselektroder og nævnte 2 måleelektroder, hvor amperemeteret og den elektriske strømkilde er i operativ forbindelse med injektionselektrodeme, og voltmeteret er i operativ forbindelse med måleelektroderne.
4. Apparat ifølge krav 3, hvor nævnte elektriske strømkilde er konfigureret til at tilvejebringe elektrisk strøm ved en flerhed af frekvenser i et område på 1 Hz til 10 MHz.
5. Apparat ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor mikroprocessoren er operativt forbundet med en insulinpumpe og indbefatter midler til justering af mængden af insulinstrøm via pumpen til individet baseret på det bestemte blodglucoseniveau.
6. Apparat ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, der yderligere omfatter midler til kalibrering af apparatet i forhold til et direkte målt glucoseniveau hos nævnte individ.
7. Apparat ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor mikroprocessoren er programmeret til at bestemme glucoseniveauet hos et individ baseret på en hovedkomponentanalyse og en delvis mindste kvadraters-regressionsanalyse.
8. Apparat ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, der yderligere omfatter en indikator, som er operativt forbundet med mikroprocessoren, til indikation af den bestemte mængde glucose.
9. Apparat ifølge krav 8, hvor indikatoren omfatter et visuelt display.
10. Apparat ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor måleelektroderne er indrettet til indføring i subdermalt eller subkutant kropsvæv. 3
11. Apparat ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor mindst én af parret af injektionselektroder eller parret af måleelektroder er indrettet til indføring i subdermalt eller subkutant kropsvæv.
