Abstract

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention This invention relates to a child's teat, equipped with an electronic device capable of playing a pre-programmed tune, by activating a hidden switch. The invention is characterized in that the contact is magnetic and that a magnet is embedded in the holder ring to form the contact end in the shield piece.

A similar composition is known from EP Al 185614.

Nevertheless, this construction is of a rather complex nature, while the theoretical operation as well as the reliability of this design must be presumed to be critical.

Similarly, GB A 2231274 discloses a pacifier with a built-in music player that activates the music player when the lighting conditions change.

However, in some situations, the activation mechanism of this design will produce an adverse effect, as the product (device) e.g. during transport, typically in a bag, will activate unintentionally. Thus, the same uncontrollable activity will also be achieved in a given handling (possibly cleaning) 25.

Unlike the above-described suits, with the teat according to the invention, a number of useful advantages, as well as a substantially simplified production process, as well as an increased reliability of the final product have been obtained.

The electronic part, embedded in the shield piece, may be constructed such that all of the components used mounted on the circuit board are covered with an encapsulated layer of cured plastic material which is then embedded in the shield piece itself.

This design will thus provide a double encapsulation of the electronic components used, thereby ensuring that no physical contact with the electronics parts is possible. With this design, a sufficient level of safety will be achieved so that no parts can be separated and ultimately block the respiratory or digestive system. This is new compared to the previously mentioned patent.

10 Furthermore, with this embodiment, saliva secretion will not give rise to corrosion on contact and electrical components, with possibly secretion of toxic products as a result.

The electronics part consists of the following components (see 25 Fig. 2): - A mounting plate (Print plate) (1) - A piezoelectric resonator (2) - A battery (3.1), held by a battery clip (3.2) 30 - A magnetic "reed" switch. (4) - A music chip. (5)

The music chip is attached directly to the circuit board, with electrical contact to the 35 conductor circuits printed on the circuit board, through 4 wires (boundings).

The conductor paths form two pieces for the resonator DK 171358 B1 4 (the speaker), while two other conductor paths are connected respectively. to the Magnetic connector, and to the battery. The overall height of the unit will be less than 2.5 mm, and can therefore be contained in the screen piece without any problems.

The resonator consists of a piezoelectric resonant disk that is inserted into a circular resonant chamber of the same diameter as the disk. This rests on a narrow recess in the chamber, thus creating an air chamber on both sides of the disc. This allows the disc to vibrate, thus delivering the desired tones after embedding.

For all of the assembled electrical components, they must be covered by liquid plastic material, which, when cold-cured, achieves a hard consistency and thus provides protection for the components by further embedding in the shield piece.

A child's suit with a teat, a plastic screen piece, a plastic holder and a music player embedded in the screen comprising an audio transmitter, a music chip, a battery and a contact, characterized in that the contact is magnetic and that in the holder ring there are 10 cast a magnet to form the contact end of the shield piece.
