Abstract
The dummy, which may be a real infant's dummy or a novelty item, includes a microchip with stored musical information which is activated, via a mechanical or electronic, pressure- or vibration-sensitive switch, by sucking. Alternatively, the switch may activate external means such as lighting or hi-fi or the dummy may include a reed or whistle for activating an external device. <IMAGE>
Description
Active Amusement (Musical Dummy) 1) The above device may also be refered to as the following:
Musical dummy, interactive entertainment, novelty or musical instrument, or musical application, including toy and passive anti-depressant.
2) The above device can also be designed for the following appliance:
Genuine child dummy, novelty-toy.
Design Specifications.
General purpose dummy or equivalent device with similar application. With the additional application of in this case a micro-chip with stored musical information that when sucked activates a mechanical or electronic pressure or vibration concious switch, which in turn activates the electronic or mechanical including interactive equipment to which will deliver an audiable message, in this case music or may be interactive with an external application such as lighting or hi-fi.
This is the most important device in that when activated can be used for an endless amount of applications.
In this case we have inserted a musical device including battery and pizo speaker. But once the switching element has been inserted can trigger remotely any internal as well as extrnal equipment.
Switch insersion may be as in our case a mechanical pressure switch but could easily be infra-red or pizo electronic film including possible Hall efect detection.
For possible external devices the switching element may be just a Reed type or whistle arrangement so long as the external device can respond to the frequency so as there is no need for the use of a battery.
Claims (1)
- A STANDARD DUMMY OR SIMILAR IS REDESIGEND BUT INCORPORATES A DEVICE THAT WHEN ACTIVATED CAN PLAY MUSIC EITHER INTERNALY OR EXTERNALY.THE INTERNAL DEVICE CONSISTS OF A MECHANICAL OR ELECTRONIC SENSOR THAT WILL BE ACTIVATED BY PRESURE OR MOVEMENT OF THE MOUTH, BUT DEPENDANT ON IT S CONSTRUCTION CAN ALSO INCORPORATE A VIBRATION SESORTIVE SENSOR, THUS ACTIVATING ITHER AN EXTERNAL INTERACTIVE SENSOR OR AN INTERNAL ELECTRONIC/MECANICAL DEVICE.A DEVICE FOR EXAMPLE COULD BE A MUSICAL MICRO CHIP INSERTON WITH LOW POWER CONSUMPTION SO AS ENABLING THE BATERY TO BE INCORPORATED DURING PRODUCTION, SO AS THER IS NO NEED TO CHANGE ANY PARTS INCREASING THE DEVICES SAFTY.THE DEVICE WILL RUN DOWN IN DUE TIME SO AS TO TELL THE USER TO REPLACE IT, AS FOR HYGENIC RESONS IS SOME WHAT IMPORTANT.THE INSERSION OF THE INTERNAL DEVICE IS SUCH THAT THE GENERAL APPEARANCE WILL DIFFER SLIGHTLY IF AT ALL.
