Abstract

The invention relates to a mechanical stay device, for a door provided with a door closer, whereby the door closer is a sliding channel door closer, comprising a pivoting arm, connected at one end to an output shaft from the door closer and fixed with a rotating mount at the other end to a slide piece (2), running in a slide channel (1), with a stay device (5), arranged within the sliding channel (1). According to the invention, a mechanical stay device (5) for a sliding channel door closer may be achieved, which has a simple construction, is easy to maintain and nevertheless is of small dimensions, whereby an operating arm (14) is provided with a rotating mounting, the free end of which cooperates with a catch projection (4) located on the sliding piece (2).
