Abstract
The method involves specifying a speed depending on a bend and possibly lateness relative to a travel plan. Travel time reserves are defined for route sections in relation to a maximum permissible section speed. The train location according to the travel plane is determined using the plan and current time. The speed to be defined is computed from the bend applicable to this location and the current lateness taking into account the travel time reserve.
