Opfindelsen vedrører et apparat til induktionssvejsning af plastdele med deri værende elektrisk ledende materiale. ______
Det er principielt kendt ved hjælp af højfrekvent strøm at tilvejebringe sammensvejsning af eksempelvis plastlaminat indeholdende aluminiumfolie. Denne teknik er blevet udviklet betydelig gennem de senere år, og det er nu muligt at sammensvejse de J fleste typer af termoplastprodukter under forudsætning af, at de - dele, som skal sammensvejses, i det mindste i området ved svejse- j stedet, indeholder en eller anden form for hvirvelstrømfremkaldende ^ materiale. Dette kan eksempelvis udgøres af aluminiumfolie eller simpelthen ved i området for det påtænkte svejsested at påføre * i 146241 2 jernoxidpulver eller lignende. I visse tilfælde indeholder plastmaterialet tilstrækkeligt med ledende forureninger til direkte at muliggøre sammenføjning ved induktionssvejsning.
De frekvenser, som man har valgt at arbejde med, ligger normalt i MHz-området, sædvanligvis mellem 1 og 5 MHz. Dette betyder, at der kan ses bort fra den ohmske effektudvikling i svejseværktøjet (spolen) i denne forbindelse. Dette skyldes den høj induktans ved disse frekvenser og den såkaldte skineffekt.
Ikke desto mindre sker der under driften af svejseværktøjet en betydelig opvarmning af dette. Denne opvarmning hidrører fra de på svejsestedet ad magnetisk vej inducerede strømme.
For at opnå en uforstyrret drift ved relativt høje arbejdshastigheder må derfor varmen for de inducerede strømme ledes bort.
I forbindelse med forsegling af låg på beholdersvøb er denne varmebortledning tidligere tilvejebragt ved cirkulation af et kølemedium gennem selve induktionsspolen, som i denne forbindelse har bestået af en ledende rørsløjfe med henholdsvis indløb og udløb for kølemediet.
En anledning til at man til de kendte induktionsspoler har anvendt rør har dels været det nævnte hensyn til kølingen, men dels også ønsket om at have en leder i spolen med minimalt tværsnit. Dette for at mindske impedansen ved disse høje frekvenser.
Nu har det imidlertid ifølge opfindelsen ejendommeligt nok vist sig, at man med lige så godt resultat kan anvende en betydelig enklere spoleudformning, nemlig en spole i form af en med et hul forsynet, ledende plade med vilkårlig ydre kontur og med en slids, som forbinder hullet med pladens yderrand.
Dette giver betydelige fordele i sammenligning med de kendte rørspoler. Disse har nemlig en række ulemper, som man tidligere ikke har kunnet eliminere.
For det første fordres der,til at man skal kunne tilvejebringe et værktøj baseret på den kendte teknik, en særdeles nøjagtig bearbejdning, eftersom et rør først må bukkes om til en sløjfe med nøjagtig indre og ydre kontur. Derefter skal sløjfen anbringes i en isolerende holer med tilsvarende nøjagtig indre kontur.
Alt dette er tidskrævende og dermed dyrt.
Trods den nøjagtige ombukning af røret forekommer der indsnævringer i områderne ved rørets bøjninger. Dette mindsker det tilgængelige tværsnitsareal for kølemidlets cirkulation, hvilket 3 1462Λ1 kan give uønskede effekter ved svejsning.
Kølekanaleme er desuden mere eller mindre utilgængelige, og kølingen sker altid direkte mod svejsestedet. Det kan altså ikke lade sig gøre på enkel måde at rense kanalerne og heller ikke at ændre forløbet af disse, med mindre der fremstilles et helt nyt værktøj.
Hensigten med opfindelsen er derfor at fjerne disse ulemper ved de kendte induktionssvejseapparater. Apparatet ifølge opfindelsen bygger på det tidligere sagte vedrørende en plade kontra en rørsløjfe, og udgøres af et apparat til induktionssvejsning af plastdele med deri værende elektrisk ledende materiale, eksempelvis til svejsning af et med metalfolie beklædt plastlåg til et beholdersvøb, og apparatet omfatter mindst én lukket, elektrisk ledende bane, omkring i det mindste et svejsested og i tilknytning dertil en kølemiddelpassage. Apparatet er ejendommelig ved, at den elektrisk ledende bane udgøres af en metalplade med et deri udformet hul omkring svejsestedet og med en isolerende slids mellem hullet og pladens yderrand.
Opfindelsen forklares nærmere i det følgende under henvisning til tegningen, hvor fig. 1 viser en udførelsesform for en forseglingsplade ifølge opfindelsen set nedefra og med den dertil normalt hørende underplade fjernet, fig. 2 et tværsnit gennem pladens langsgående midterplan, fig. 3 en anden udførelsesform af en forseglingsplade ifølge opfindelsen, og fig. 4 et tværsnit i pladen i fig. 3.
Den med tallet 10 i fig. 1 betegnede plade er eksempelvis en plade af kobber, messing eller et lignende materiale, der er godt elektrisk ledende. I pladen findes der to huller 11 og 11'. Randkonturen for disse huller svarer til yderkonturen af et ikke vist låg, som skal forsegles til et beholdersvøb. Værktøjet i fig. 1 er beregnet til parallelt at tilvejebringe forsegling af to låg på tilsvarende beholdersvøb.
Til undersiden af pladen 10 er der fastgjort en plade 12 af isolerende materiale, f.eks. bakelit. Pladen 12 kan være limet eller på anden måde fastgjort til pladen 10. På linie med hullerne 11 og 11' i pladen 10 findes der huller 13 og 131 i pladen 12. Disse har en kontur svarende til yderkonturen af de til forsegling beregnede lågs flanger. Som det fremgår af fig.2, har låge- 4 146241 ne altså en fremspringende krave i området for åbningerne 13 og 13' og en i hovedsagen lodret yderrand svarende til hulkonturerne 11 og 11*. Som det også fremgår af de i fig. 2 viste huller 13 og 13’, har disse forneden knaster 14 og 14 *, der dannes af en i figuren opadvendende konisk del af vedkommende huller. Disse knaster 14 og 14' er indrettet til at bære et låg i hullerne 11, 13 og 11’,13'.
Hullerne 11 og 11' er forbundet med hinanden gennem en smal slids 15. Denne slids har passende en bredde på nogle tiendedele millimeter, f.eks. 0,3 mm. Ved midten 16 af slidsen 15 er der tilsluttet en yderligere slids 17, som munder ud ved pladen 10's ydre rand 28. Slidserne 15 og 17 danner således tilsammen en T-formet slids, og som det fremgår af fig. 1, udmunder de fri ender af respektive slidser i hovedsagen vinkelret mod de tilhørende randkanter. Slidserne 15 og 17 deler pladen 10 i fra hinanden isolerede dele i området mellem hullerne. På den ene af disse dele findes der en første elektrisk tilslutning 18, og på den anden del findes der en tilsvarende anden elektrisk tilslutning 19.
Når en højfrekvent (ikke vist) spændingskilde tilkobles respektive tilslutninger 18 og 19, opnås der således en lukket strømbane i banen 10, og denne strømbane strækker sig på grund af skineffekten primært langs den ene side af slidsen 17, slidsen 15 til en af hulrandene 11, 11' og derefter tilbage igen via slidserne 15 og 17 til en af de elektriske tilslutninger 18 og 19; Skineffekten giver desuden strøm på de øvrige ydersider af pladen 10. Det magnetiske felt, som opnås langs hulrandene 11 og 11', bliver imidlertid på i og for sig kendt måde forstærket netop i området ved disse rande eller kanter, hvorfor der kan ses bort fra den eventuelle induktive effekt, som opnås ved yderkanterne af pladen 10. Det har vist sig at være hensigtsmæssigt, at svejsningen udføres med en frekvens på ca. 1-3 MHz.
Som nævnt opstår der ved de tilsigtede driftshastigheder var-meoverføring til pladen 10. For at bortlede varmen er der derfor et spor 20 i pladen, og dette spor omslutter i hovedsagen hele omkredsen af respektive huller 11 og 11'. Enderne 21 og 22 af sporet 20 er tilsluttet henholdsvis et ikke vist indløb og udløb for kølemiddel, eksempelvis vand. Som det fremgår af fig. 2, giver sporet 20 ved hjælp af pladen 12 en lukket passage for kølemedium.

Claims (4)

5 U62A1 Eftersom forløbet af kølemiddelpassagen 20 er helt uafhængigt af konturen af hullerne 11 og 11', kan kølingen gennemføres således, at den kan kompensere for eventuelle ujævnheder i magnetfeltet, som kan forekomme langs hulkonturerne. Forløbet af sporet 20 vælges altså med hensyn hertil. I fig. 3 og 4 er der anvendt samme henvisningstal som i fig. 1 og 2. Der er dog anvendt henvisningstal med mærker for slidsen og for overpladen. Det bør dog her noteres, at underplade og overplade kan være udformet som en helhed. Det er eksempelvis muligt at anvende en indkapsling af ikke-ekspanderende polyurethan eller massive polyurethaner. Ligeledes kan sporet 20 helt eller delvis være udformet i underpladen eller i overpladen eller i indkapsling.
1. Apparat til induktionssvejsning af plastdele med deri værende elektrisk ledende materiale, eksempelvis til forsegling af et med metalfolie beklædt plastlåg til et beholdersvøb, og omfattende mindst en lukket, elektrisk ledende bane omkring i det mindste et svejsested og i tilknytning dertil en kølemiddelpassage, kendetegnet ved, at den elektrisk ledende bane udgøres af en metalplade (10) med et deri udformet hul (11, 11') omkring svejsestedet og med en isolerende slids (15, 17, 17') mellem hullet og pladens yderrand (28).
2. Apparat ifølge krav 1, kendetegnet ved, at slidsens bredde er af størrelsesordenen nogle tiendedele millimeter.
3. Apparat ifølge krav 2, kendetegnet ved, at pladen (10), i det mindste i området ved et spor (20), der udgør kølemiddelpassagen, er dækket af en yderligere plade (12) til tilvejebringelse af lukkede kølemiddelpassager.
4. Apparat ifølge ethvert af de foregående krav, hvor den ledende plade er udformet til induktionsforsegling af låg til beholdersvøb, kendetegnet ved, at der i pladen (10) er udformet to hosliggende huller (11, 11'), der hver har en kontur svarende til lågets udvendige kontur, og at den isolerende slids (15, 17) forbinder hullerne indbyrdes og har en del (17), der udmunder ved pladens randområde (28), så at der på hver side af denne del er tilslutningsmuligheder (18, 19) for en elektrisk højfrekvenskilde .
