Abstract

The documents are made from a continuous paper strip, unrolled from one reel, printed, and rolled onto a second reel. From the second reel it is unrolled again and folded lengthwise. At the same time a nonpermanent adhesive is applied in a continuous line and/or separate dots to the inner surfaces of the folded strip, ensuring that it stays in the correct folded position during subsequent rolling, unrolling and cutting operations. The adhesive used for the process is a standard non-fast or re-positionable adhesive.
