Abstract

The invention relates to a heating device for a stall and to a method for operating the same. Said heating device is comprised of one or more radiating elements (1), which can be interconnected, whereby the radiating element(s) (1) is/are arranged at a preferred height above a rubber insulation pad (9), which is placed in the piglet nest area, while covering the entire surface of the rubber insulation pad (9) and that of the piglet nest.
