Abstract

A piece of furniture (10) has two upright, glass side walls (11, 12) which are set apart from each other, a compartment base (22) and supports (25) for holding the compartment base (22). According to the invention, the compartment base supports consist of glass knobs (25) which are moulded, melted or stuck onto the side walls (11, 12). This ensures that the compartment bases of a piece of furniture of this type can be adjusted despite its being made essentially entirely from glass.
