Abstract

Plastic tube for preparations with a pasty or creamy consistency for manufacture on the basis of hoses, joined strips or by injection moulding, with the inner side formed with profiles or elevations, or by elevations/depressions stamped in the material, which under compression are suited to engaging with one another thereby maintaining the compressed position as the tube is progressively emptied. The tube can be opened by a lateral pressure on the tube at the discharge opening, and closed by compressing. As variants, discharge openings are provided with threaded connection piece and screw cap and smooth connection piece for sealing plug or cap. <IMAGE>
