Abstract
The heat meter has at least two memory cells for storing the accumulated energy and a value representing the unused energy. The meter has an arrangement for detecting and storing the heat energy quantities. It is determined whether the difference between the input temp. and the actual return temp. is smaller than, equal to or greater than a computed value. The computed value Delta Tp can be continuously formed as a function of the input temp., i.e. Delta Tp = Tv - TRsoll - Delta T1, where is a fixed desired return temp. and Delta T1 is a fixed temp. difference or a temp. difference which can be varied via a control input. <IMAGE>
