Abstract

The invention relates to an apparatus for comminuting waste materials, in particular wood waste, left-over pieces of wood or the like, in which apparatus a rotor equipped with comminuting tools is horizontally mounted in a housing and a feeding hopper is provided above the rotor, the material to be comminuted being able to be supplied to the rotor by means of a press-on device acting transversely to the rotor axis.
