Abstract

A device for converting light energy into electrical current, consisting of a frame (16) for mounting a solar element (2) on a roof, which solar element (2) has a base plate, photoelements arranged thereon, a covering plate which is located above said photoelements and consists of transparent material, and electrical connections. In this case, the frame (16) is produced from electrically insulating material and, in its outer edge regions (11, 12, 13, 14), it is constructed in the form of a roof element or of a group of roof elements lying one on top of the other (Fig. 2). <IMAGE>
