Abstract

To connect two tubular parts situated at least approximately perpendicularly to one another and having different diameters, the end of the thinner tubular part (1) to be connected is passed through a wall hole (3) in the thicker tubular part (2). A stop, which is designed as a web (4) and against which the inserted end (10) of the thinner tubular part (1) is pressed, is situated in the inside of the thicker tubular part (2) opposite the wall hole (3). Consequently, an upset ring or upset head (11), whose width is limited by the webs (8, 9), is formed at the end (10) of the thinner tubular part (1). The web (4) lying opposite the wall hole (3) secures, together with the webs (8, 9), the thinner tube (1) against rotation, whereas the further stops (8, 9) prevent axial displacement of the tube (1). In this way, a non-detachable pipe coupling is formed in a very simple way without welding. <IMAGE>
