Abstract

The milk supplied via the inlet 3 is sterilised in the plate-type insert 4. The centrifuged germs are collected in the concentrate chamber 16 and periodically let off from the drum 1. The sterilised milk is conveyed out of the drum by a first paring member 8. Via ducts 15 and throttle ducts 13, a part flow of germ-poor liquid is conducted into a second paring chamber 11, in which a second paring member 12 is arranged, the take-off duct 17 of which opens directly into the inlet chamber 2. As a result, tube parts outside the drum can be omitted. <IMAGE>
