Abstract
A machine control for machine elements to be accurately positioned, comprising a central control system and position sensors (6), the output signals of which are compared with set points and are used for generating control signals for a power section (13) for driving at least one motor (1), allows a much reduced wiring complexity and a transmission of measurement values which is more insensitive to interference due to the fact that a processor (8), connected to the central control, is arranged in the immediate vicinity of the motor (1) and of the position sensors (6) and evaluates the output signals of the position sensors (6) and generates the control signals for the power section (13) of the motor (1). <IMAGE>
