Abstract
The intention is, with a device (1) for generating electrical and heating energy having a heating boiler (2) with a combustion chamber (5) and a burner (3) associated with the combustion chamber and with a Stirling engine (4) projecting with its hot top into the combustion chamber and having an associated generator (19), the heating return acting on the boiler being designed as the feed for the operating-medium cooler of the Stirling engine, to provide a solution with which it is possible, using the Stirling engine (4) in a device (1) for generating heating energy as well, a solution for generating electric power and heating energy which is structurally compact and hence suitable, in particular, for single- and multiple-occupancy dwellings or small industrial installations. It should also be possible to retrofit already existing installations. This is achieved by virtue of the fact that the boiler is designed as a condensing boiler (2) with a burner (3) arranged centrally in the upper region, the Stirling engine (4) with flanged-on generator being arranged axially relative to the burner (3) in the interior of the boiler (2).
