The subject of the invention is a device for receiving sheets obtained by cutting from a paper web coming from a reel of small diameter, of the type comprising, at the exit of the paper reel (1), a first chute (3) on which the end of the web is deposited, at the exit of the paper cutter (9, 10), a first guide piece (13) on which the cut sheet is deposited, and a receptacle (12) for the sheets following on from this guide piece (13).
