Abstract

A hanger (5) for C-shaped profiles (1) of suspended ceilings possesses, on a hanger lower part (7) carrying the C-shaped profile (1), lateral horizontal cross-piece portions (8) which lie on the upper side of the edges (4) of the C-shaped profile (1) and engage over the latter with downwardly angled end plates (9). Lateral carrying portions (13), which are arranged at a distance from the cross-piece portions (8), carry the edge strips (4) of the C-shaped profile (1). The hanger (5) is, in the mounted, vertical state, positively connected to the C-shaped profile (1) and lies flat on its outside, so that it does not hinder the introduction of insulating material next to and above the carrying rail (1). <IMAGE>
