Abstract

The invention relates to a device for securing entry gaps, on the inlet and/or outlet side of conveying means, between a conveying means surface (21, 22) of a conveying means (9) of a band conveyor and a roller surface which can be designed as a pressure roller (2) or deflecting roller (1) of a band conveyor. In this connection, there is provided at least on the inlet side, a cover member (12, 13, 14, 15) which extends over the entire roller length and has endpieces, with which it is held insertably on support elements.
